Media outlets such as Xinhua News Agency, New Vision, Daily Monitor, and Uganda Broadcasting Corporation conducted on-site interviews and reported on the event.

Ambassador Zhang highlighted China's high-quality development achievements in 2024 and outlined the goals for 2025. He noted that China's economy is rebounding positively, maintaining a contribution rate of approximately 30% to global economic growth over the past year, underscoring its role as a significant engine of the world economy. Setting the growth target at around 5% reflects the Chinese government's confidence in the long-term positive economic outlook and its determination to tackle challenges proactively.
Ambassador Zhang stated that, under the strategic guidance of Chinese and African leaders, China-Africa relations have achieved historic elevation, with China-Uganda relations at their best level in history. China is willing to strengthen cooperation with Uganda and other Global South countries to jointly safeguard the common of Global South interests, and continuously enhance the representation and voice in global governance.
