On March 13th, Ambassador Zhou Jian held a press briefing about the “Two Sessions” at his residence, with over 20 people attended, including journalists from Fiji Sun, FBC, Fiji TV, Mai TV, Fiji Live, Duavata News, and Xinhua News Agency, as well as Fijian scholars and officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Ambassador Zhou provided a comprehensive introduction to the outcomes of the "Two Sessions," elaborating on China's role as a stabilizer in a turbulent and changing world, the main engine of global economic growth, and a good partner in international cooperation. He made a comprehensive introduction to the historical context of the Taiwan question, demonstrating China’s determination to defend its core interests. He also focused on China's policy towards Fiji and the direction of the development of bilateral relations.

Following this, Ambassador Zhou had a warm discussion with the journalists on some hot topics regarding China-Fiji relations.
The next day, Fijian media widely reported on the briefing, acknowledging that China’s economic and social development has brought numerous opportunities to the world, and it’s technological innovation has empower the whole world.
