On March 12, Chinese Consul General in San Francisco Zhang Jianmin gave a news briefing to local and Chinese media at his residence about the outcomes of the annual “Two Sessions” and expressed China’s position on key issues in China-US relations. Nearly 20 media attended the event.
Consul General Zhang emphasized that China-US relations not only affect the well-being of both peoples but also bear on the future of the world. Both sides should adhere to the principles of mutual respect, peaceful coexistence, and win-win cooperation, develop a correct perception of each other, find the right way to get along, and work together to bring about a stable, healthy, and sustainable China-US relationship.
