The Detroit Pistons took on the New Orleans Pelicans on the road Monday night in a game that Detroit ended up winning in convincing fashion by a score of 127-81 on the road at the Smoothie King Center.
The win helped the Pistons bounce back from a two-game losing streak to the Washington Wizards and Oklahoma City Thunder, the latter game of which led to an epic, podium pounding rant from Pistons coach JB Bickerstaff.
During the game, Pelicans forward and 2019's number one overall pick Zion Williamson turned heads with a thunderous dunk over Pistons center Isaiah Stewart, Detroit's big man known for his defense.
The play led to a war of words between social media accounts and a an epic respond from Stewart as he put the clamps on Williamson defensively shortly after the former Duke Blue Devil's shocking dunk.
"DON'T JUMP WITH ZION WILLIAMSON," the Pelicans' X account wrote with a video clip of the Pelicans star's thunderous double-clutch jam vs. Stewart and the Pistons.

Stewart got his revenge on the Pelicans star shortly afterward, as chronicled by the Pistons' social media account.
"Just going to leave this here," the page wrote as Williamson got his just desserts while attempting to challenge Detroit's defensive ace shortly afterward.
