Suns Make 2-Word Statement Following Dominant Victory Over Raptors

The Phoenix Suns entered Monday night's matchup against the Toronto Raptors desperately needing to pick up a victory to keep their playoff hopes alive.

That is exactly what Phoenix was able to do as they dominated their way by Toronto 129-89 to pick up their fifth win in their last 10 games.

Devin Booker led the way for Phoenix as he scored a game-high 27 points and also added four rebounds and six assists.

Ryan Dunn added 17 points and six rebounds of his own while Kevin Durant scored 14 points on 5-7 shooting from the field.

Phoenix then made a two-word statement on social media after Monday's dominant victory.

"Desert dub," the Suns posted on X after Monday's victory over the Raptors.

Of course, the Suns desperately needed to pick up a win to remain alive in the race for the final Play-In spot in the Western Conference and they were able to do so against a shorthanded Raptors team.

Toronto was without Jakob Poeltl due to rest, RJ Barrett was sidelined due to an illness and the Raptors were also without Chris Boucher and Ochai Agbaji.

Despite this, it was still an impressive victory for the Suns who were without one of their star players in Bradley Beal who was sidelined due to injury.

With Monday's victory, the Suns now sit just one game behind the Dallas Mavericks for the final Play-In spot in the Western Conference and they were able to build a two-game buffer over the Portland Trail Blazers who sit right behind them in the standings.

Phoenix will now look to build off Monday's impressive performance when they take on the Chicago Bulls at home on Wednesday.
