The Los Angeles Lakers handily took down the San Antonio Spurs at home on Monday night, winning 125-109 in a battle between two shorthanded squads.
Of course, the Spurs were missing Victor Wembanyama and De'Aaron Fox, who are both out for the season. On the other end of the court, though, the Lakers were without superstar forward LeBron James, but LA's backcourt continue to prove they can perform without him.
Lakers guard Austin Reaves shined with 30 points, but 26-year-old superstar Luka Doncic dropped 21 points, 14 assists, 9 rebounds, and 3 steals, continuing his dominant stretch since getting traded to LA.

Through 15 games with the Lakers, Doncic is now averaging 26.2 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 8.1 assists, but has been consistently dominant recently.
Doncic has scored 20+ points in ten consecutive games, which is the longest streak by a Lakers guard since NBA legend Kobe Bryant in 2013.

Doncic has been on a tear since having a slow start to his Lakers tenure and joining the likes of Kobe Bryant on an exclusive list speaks for itself. The five-time NBA All-Star has secured his spot with the greats, and when the Lakers get James back on the court, the Lakers will continue to build toward their potential championship run.
Monday's matchup between the Lakers and Spurs would have been much more interesting if both teams were healthy, but Doncic and Reaves still put on a show.
