The Denver Nuggets had a tough matchup against the red-hot Golden State Warriors on Monday as they looked to bounce back after Saturday's disappointing loss to the Washington Wizards.
To make matters worse, the Nuggets were without their star duo of Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray in Monday's game, but it did not matter as Denver rolled past Golden State 114-105.
Aaron Gordon led the way for Denver as he recorded 38 points, six rebounds and three assists in the victory.
Michael Porter Jr. added 13 points, 10 rebounds and five assists of his own and Russell Westbrook recorded another triple-double with 12 points, 12 rebounds and 16 assists.
For the Warriors, Jimmy Butler led the way with 23 points, eight rebounds and six assists while Stephen Curry scored 20 points on a disappointing 6-21 shooting from the field.
After the victory, the Nuggets made a two-word statement on social media.
"NUGGETS ROLL," Denver posted on X after Monday's win over the Warriors.

Denver's statement was correct as they were able to roll all over the Warriors in Monday's game despite being without their two best players.
The Nuggets were able to get out to an early advantage and never really looked back as they dominated their way by the Warriors thanks to them forcing 20 turnovers, which is uncharacteristic for a veteran Warriors squad.
This win marks Denver's 44th of the season and they are now tied with the Houston Rockets for second-best record in the Western Conference and they also opened a one-game advantage over both the Los Angeles Lakers and Memphis Grizzlies for third in the standings.
Denver will now look to build off this victory and they will likely get Jokic and Murray back in Wednesday's blockbuster matchup with Luka Doncic and the Lakers on the road.
