Sacramento Kings star Domantas Sabonis required four stitches above his eye after a head-to-head collision with Luke Kennard and later suffered a severe ankle roll, forcing him to exit the game early. To make matters worse, he also appeared to still be dealing with a lingering hamstring injury.

The Kings' big man had to leave the game early in the first quarter after a head-to-head collision with Memphis guard Luke Kennard, which required four stitches above his eye.
Additionally, Sabonis appeared to struggle with discomfort in his left hamstring throughout the gameāan injury that had previously sidelined him for nearly two weeks.
To make matters worse, at the start of the third quarter, Sabonis rolled his ankle while driving to the basket. He had to be helped off the court by teammates and staff and did not return.
In just 12 minutes of action, Sabonis recorded 6 points and 4 assists.
After the game, Kings coach Doug Christie had no update on Sabonis' injury status.
This season, Sabonis is averaging 19.2 points, 13.9 rebounds, and 6.2 assists per game, helping lead his team to a 34-33 record, currently placing them ninth in the Western Conference.
