A verdict on Manchester City's 115 charges for alleged financial breaches is expected any day - with the club set to learn whether they have been successful in their defence of the Premier League's seismic allegations.
City were handed the 115 charges back in February 2023, with a ten-week trial late last year giving the club a chance to present their case in front of an independent panel. The Premier League have alleged serious financial wrongdoing over multiple years, which would incur a serious punishment if they have been able to prove City's guilt before the tribunal.
However, City have always insisted their innocence and viewed the trial as a chance to vindicate themselves once and for all. Whatever the result, both sides are likely to claim victory of some sort, while an appeal will be possible if either side feels the result is incorrect.
And there will, of course, be plenty of attention over the verdict - including much hyperbole and hysteria. So you can cut through the noise and discover the facts on the Manchester Evening News before the verdict drops, as soon as it happens, and then we will take you through the next steps with expert, impartial analysis.
