Alan Shearer partied into the night after watching Newcastle United lift the Carabao Cup at Wembley.
The behind-the-scenes celebrations at Newcastle United were legendary, with players going to Boxpark Wembley and mixing with fans.
Alan Shearer was spotted with Dan Burn after Newcastle’s local hero broke the deadlock against Liverpool scoring Newcastle’s first goal at Wembley since 2000.
Shearer text Bruno Guimaraes before the game, asking the skipper to bring the trophy back to Tyneside. For the first time in 70 years, a major honour will be coming back to St James’ Park.
Eddie Howe outsmarted Arne Slot at Wembley and deserves huge credit for Newcastle’s win. While Shearer was unable to catch up with the boss, he did make sure to send him a message after the final.

Alan Shearer reveals message sent to Eddie Howe
Howe made football history on Sunday by becoming the first English manager to win a major honour in 17 years.
Howe got his game plan spot on against Liverpool, with his side dominating Liverpool physically and taking advantage of set pieces. He has now etched his name into the club’s history books as a legend.
Speaking on the latest episode of The Rest is Football, Shearer revealed the exact message he sent to Eddie Howe after the final, and it’s something all Newcastle fans wish they could tell him.

“I haven’t had a chat with Eddie yet, no. I just sent him a text message, saying “thank you” with a black and white love heart,” Shearer said.
“That’s all I said. What more can I say to him.”
A short but sweet message, and Newcastle fans will be echoing that message for decades to come.

After the heartbreak of the 2023 Carabao Cup final, Howe promised Newcastle would return to Wembley and he delivered on that promise and more.
Winning a trophy became Howe’s obsession at Newcastle, and his determination and hard work paid off.
