Manchester United triumphed over Leicester City with a decisive 3-0 win in Sunday's Premier League match, but the victory wasn't without its setbacks. Rising star defender Ayden Heaven was carted off on a stretcher after a collision with Leicester's Patson Daka left him visibly writhing in agony.

Ruben Amorim is already missing Lisandro Martinez, Harry Maguire, Leny Yoro, and Jonny Evans, but the injury to Heaven, 18, will be particularly disappointing. Fortunately, the upcoming international break presents a chance for some of these players to recuperate, potentially making them available for when the top-flight returns. The Red Devils are set to go head-to-head with Nottingham Forest at the City Ground on April 1 as the final run-in looms large. Here's the latest on the injury front and an insight into who might be match-ready for the Forest encounter.

Altay Bayindir - Injury: Unknown

The Turkish goalkeeper is nursing an undisclosed injury. Ahead of the stalemate with Everton on February 22nd, Amorim mentioned Bayindir was "making a recovery".

Since then, there have been no further updates offered by Amorim, and Bayindir hasn't been seen in training sessions. His expected return date remains uncertain.

Tom Heaton - Injury: Unknown

Tom Heaton is similarly out of action due to an unconfirmed injury. Last month, Amorim disclosed: "Tom is making a recovery. Again, I don't have a day, but they [Heaton and Bayindir] are recovering."

When he might make a comeback is yet unknown.

Harry Maguire - Injury: Unknown

Maguire is sidelined with an unspecified injury. He was substituted before the FA Cup match against Fulham that went to extra time on March 2nd. Following last week's win over Sociedad, Amorim noted: "Harry Maguire we tried not to risk, we will see for Sunday."

He could possibly return by April 1st for the away game against Nottingham Forest.

Leny Yoro - Injury: Unknown

Yoro had to make an early exit during the clash with Arsenal after needing treatment in the first half. Amorim revealed the teenager would be sidelined for the upcoming matches against Sociedad and Leicester, but holds hope for his comeback in the game against Forest. When asked about the young Frenchman, Amorim said: "No, no [Yoro's absence] is not long-term. Leny cannot play this game (vs Sociedad) and the other game (vs Leicester)."

Possible return date: April 1 (Nottingham Forest A).

Lisandro Martinez - Injury: Anterior cruciate ligament (ACL)

Martinez suffered a devastating ACL rupture in United's 2-0 loss to Crystal Palace on February 2 and underwent surgery the following month. While United haven't specified a recovery timeline, it's certain he won't feature again this season.

Possible return date: August.

Jonny Evans - Injury: Muscle

Evans hasn't been named in a matchday squad since United's defeat by Wolves on Boxing Day. His last stint on the pitch was when United lost 4-3 to Spurs in the Carabao Cup on December 19.

Possible return date: Unknown.

Ayden Heaven - Injury: Unknown

Heaven experienced a worrying collision with Leicester's Patson Daka just after half-time and needed significant aid from medical staff from both United and Leicester before being stretchered off the field. Following the incident, Amorim disclosed that Heaven couldn't speak and further updates on his injury are pending.

Possible return date: Unknown.

Luke Shaw - Injury: Muscle

Manchester United ace Shaw has been missing in action since early December due to a persistent muscle injury. After a setback disrupted his recovery progress recently, he's now painstakingly slogging through a tailored fitness regime, with his comeback date still up in the air.

Possible return date: Unknown.

Kobbie Mainoo - Injury: Unknown

The midfielder is languishing on the sidelines as well, nursing an unspecified injury sustained just before United's 1-0 loss against Tottenham Hotspur. Manager Amorim voiced concerns, anticipating it might take "weeks" for the midfielder's recovery. Nonetheless, hopes are pinned on Mainoo returning for United's encounter with Nottingham Forest on April 1st.

Possible return date: April 1 (Nottingham Forest A)

Amad Diallo - Injury: Ankle

United's ranks have also been hit by Amad's absence due to an ankle injury incurred ahead of the same Tottenham defeat. With Amorim foreseeing Amad's absence possibly stretching for the remainder of the season, the situation seemed bleak. Yet, in a more optimistic vein following last week's stalemate with Sociedad, Amorim hinted at a potential early return, saying: "Even Amad, we will see in the end of the last month. I don't want to say anything but I have the hope to have Amad before the end of the season."

Possible return date: May.
