U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin will hold a two-hour call from 9 a.m. ET on Tuesday, the Kremlin's spokesman Dimtry Peskov said.
Peskov said the two presidents would discuss Ukraine and "further normalization of our bilateral relations," the Russian state news agency RIA reported.
He said that previous conversations between the leaders meant "there is a certain understanding".
