Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski has admitted he didn’t get much sleep after [Sunday’s thrilling win over Atletico in La Liga](https://www.barcablaugranes.com/2025/3/16/24385662/atletico-madrid-barcelona-la-liga-final-score-match-report-recap-reactions).
Lewandowski was on target in the comeback victory as Barca recovered from 2-0 down to win 4-2 and move back top the top of the table.
Here’s what he made of it all:
> “Honestly, I didn’t sleep well after the match. We arrived back in Barcelona at 3 a.m., and when I got home, I didn’t get much sleep. Then I had to fly early in the morning, so I didn’t get enough rest, and I plan to make up for it today,” he told reporters after linking up with the Poland squad.

> “As for the general feeling, of course, a game like this gives you a huge morale boost, especially when you’re 2-0 down and then score four goals and win. This kind of victory boosts your self-confidence, especially with so many games left in the season. It’s great to come to the national team training camp after a win; it gives you positive energy.”
Lewandowski is now due to face Lithuania and Malta in World Cup qualifiers over the international break.
