— The Wolves lost the game in the first half, going down by 14 points. After the game, players and coaches both said the team did not have the right mindset to start the game.
— Rudy Gobert and Andrew Nembhard got ejected in the third quarter. Many Wolves fans in the arena and on social media disagreed with the decision to kick Gobert out of the game.
— Despite everything that happened earlier in the game, the Wolves still had a chance to put the game away in overtime, but Obi Toppin had other plans, making a career-high seven 3-pointers.
— The Wolves still have by far the easiest schedule in the Western Conference as the teams above them in the standings all play each other numerous times down the stretch of the regular season.

— Edwards also made Walker Kessler his Prey of the Week with a monstrous jam during the Wolves' 128-102 win over the Utah Jazz on Sunday.
— The Timberwolves’ longest winning streak in over 20 years has now come to an end. A new streak will need to start on Wednesday against the New Orleans Pelicans if the Wolves hope to move up into the top six of the Western Conference standings.
