Microsoft has released updates for both the stable and preview versions of Windows Terminal. The company has made these updates available through GitHub and the Microsoft Store.

For users of the preview version, Windows Terminal 1.23.10732.0 brings a vast set of changes. A new addition lets users go between embedded hyperlinks in Mark Mode using the Tab and Shift+Tab keys. The update also addresses quite a few bugs, such as corrections to hyperlink underlines, mouse report positioning, crashes when closing tabs quickly, and fixes for the About dialog behavior in multiple windows, as reported by Neowin.

The preview version also improves resource management when closing tabs and windows, graphical elements in the Appearance settings, and resolves issues with pane visibility when separating tabs. Microsoft says it also reduces error messages during debugging processes for both Terminal and Conhost.

The stable version, Windows Terminal 1.22.10731.0, looks mainly at bug fixes and improvements to the ConPTY system. Microsoft has resolved issues related to deadlocks during console session handoff and improved the Japanese translations for certain features. The ConPTY system now handles pipe closures during startup more effectively and avoids hanging when receiving incorrect responses.

Users interested in these improvements can download the appropriate version of Windows Terminal from either GitHub or the Microsoft Store.
