Sunderland midfielder Jobe Bellingham would be keen to move to the Premier League if bids are lodged and promotion isn’t won, TEAMtalk has said.
Sunderland have been firmly in the Championship promotion fight this season and remain so with eight games left to play. SAFC sit 4th in the table, as thy have done for much of the campaign.
Leeds United and Sheffield United occupy the top two spots as it stands and the Black Cats are now 11 points behind them. 12 points separate Regis Le Bris’ side and 7th though.

It means if they’re to have a chance of bringing Premier League football back to the Stadium of Light, they’ll likely have to win the play-offs.
Now though, reports have said that if Sunderland don’t win promotion, one player who would be open to making the step up without them is Jobe Bellingham.
TEAMtalk reports that with all of Manchester United, Nottingham Forest, Brentford, Brighton & Hove Albion, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur eyeing him, Bellingham ‘would be keen’ to move to the highest level.
All of the six sides mentioned are watching the SAFC star and are interested in making a move if the Wearside outfit fail to win promotion. A big fee would be demanded with Bellingham under contract until 2028.
