Newcastle chairman Yasir Al-Rumayyan is “adamant” that the Magpies will not sell Alexander Isak this summer, according to reports.
The Swedish international has been heavily linked with the likes of Arsenal and Liverpool but the Daily Mail claim Al-Rumayyan has made it clear that the club should reject any offers for the striker.
Isak has three years left on his contract at St. James’ Park and he has repeatedly spoken out to state that he is happy in the North East.

However, his form over the past two seasons has attracted a lot of attention, and it looks increasingly likely that he will be the subject of formal bids from Premier League rivals over the coming weeks.
No asking price has been set for Isak
Although some sources have suggested that Newcastle have set their valuation between £130m and £150m, the Mail say that the club have not even “discussed” a price tag.
Rumours ave been circulating that Arsenal have made a decision that they will not go any higher than €120m (£101m) if and when they table their offer for Isak.
Based on what Al-Rumayyan has told the board, it does seem like such a proposal would be immediately rebuffed.
Could Newcastle revive contract talks?
One way to end the speculation would be for Isak to put pen to paper on a new deal. He is currently earning £120,000 a week on the contract that runs until the end of the 2027/28 season.
However, speaking back in October, head coach Eddie Howe confirmed that discussions over an extension had stalled. Since then, there have been reports that negotiations could be revived, with fresh talks potentially taking place at the end of the campaign, but there has been no solid evidence to support those claims.
