Meanwhile, fellow midfielder Mateo Kovacic could also be set for an Etihad exit, as according to TEAMtalk, the Blues have cleared the way for him to leave with talks already underway for him to return to Spain.

The report states that Guardiola is looking for top-level reinforcements to add to his squad, and he has now set his sights on Doue, who he believes would fit perfectly into his team, and therefore, has asked City to make an offer to bring the player to Manchester.
The French giants paid €50m to Rennes to bring the 19-year-old to Paris in the summer. Doue’s speed, agility, and dribbling ability have seen him likened to Neymar, who once wore the famous PSG shirt. PSG are said to be confident that the Frenchman, who has just earned a call-up to the national team for this month’s internationals, will become one of their star players in years to come.
