The pitchside view is also spectacular, and the prospect of over 50,000 fans in attendance filling the empty stands is an exciting one.

What are the next steps for Everton’s new stadium opening?
Everton will see the season out at Goodison Park, and the return of David Moyes has meant that there are very few fears of relegation from the Premier League in this campaign.
Once the campaign has concluded, work will begin on demolishing Goodison Park, and the new ground will be ready to host Everton’s first competitive fixture of next season.
However, it has been mooted that Goodison Park may be kept in some form to host WSL games for the Everton Women’s team.
There is set to be a ‘Farewell to Goodison Festival’ to celebrate the 130-year history of Goodison Park before Everton officially depart their iconic ground, and the final home game of this season will take place against Southampton around the weekend of May 18th.
