Kieran Trippier enjoyed a family day out at Hertfordshire Zoo on Monday following his team's Carabao Cup win against Liverpool at Wembley on Sunday.

The Newcastle United right-back, 34, cut a casual figure in a navy blue button-up polo shirt and matching trousers as he and his children explored the zoo.

The father of three, who is dad to Jacob, nine, Esme Rose, five, and a two-year old daughter, sported a pair of chunky white trainers with his ensemble.

Kieran looked every inch the doting father as he held his youngest, whose name has not yet been revealed, in his arms.

During their day out, the family visited the sun bear enclosure, the camel park, and the leopard gecko enclosure.

Kieran's children looked over the moon as they got the chance to feed the camels in the park.

Kieran's estranged wife Charlotte, 35, did not appear to be with the family on their day trip. It was reported last year that the couple had split.

In September, it was claimed Charlotte has reportedly moved 200 miles across the country to start a new life with their children.

She had also removed her wedding ring just days after the Premier League footballer was spotted without his.

News of the split came months after Kieran partied with call center worker Frankie Carmichael, 27, and was seen lifting up the blonde around his waist in a karaoke bar in May last year.

The athlete was at Cosy Joes with her legs wrapped around him while holding her backside - while at the time his wife Charlotte was in Madrid.

It was reported Charlotte had enrolled their children at an exclusive private school after moving into a huge, £3.85million mansion in Cheshire, over the summer.

She posted pictures of their daughter and son in their uniforms, each holding a blackboard which read: 'It's my first day of a NEW school.'

Meanwhile Kieran, who earns £130,000-a-week, remained in Newcastle.

The couple's £3.8million, six-bed mansion in Northumberland, was also put up for sale as they pursued increasingly separate lives.

A source has told The Sun: 'Charlotte's starting afresh and is looking forward to the future.

'She's a strong woman and has made the move from the north east to the north west. It's not been an easy task, but she's got the support of her family and friends.'

His family day out comes shortly after his team won their first domestic trophy in 70 years after beating Liverpool 2-1 in the Carabao Cup.

Thousands of Magpies fans flooded the capital on Sunday to watch their team end their drought against last year's winners.

TV presenters Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, both 49, were among the fans rejoicing in the stands, as celebrations erupted across Newcastle.

The Carabao Cup win comes one month after Newcastle's manager Eddie Howe, 47, said no part of him wants to lose Kieran and is hopeful the defender will remain at the club this season.

'No part of us wanted to lose Kieran (in January),' said Eddie.

'He is unique, there is no-one can do what he can do - set-play delivery, passing ability and his overall leadership in unique.'

'The old school leadership where you're talking and communicating with everybody, thinking about the whole team rather than just yourself, it is almost a bit of a dying art now.'

'He is someone we definitely see hopefully staying and having a big impact in the second half of the season.'

Last month, Kieran made his eighth start of the season during the Carabao Cup semi-final victory over Arsenal and was outstanding.

'Kieran showcased all his skills in that game,' said Eddie at the time. 'His experience was vital. He's a real calming influence on the team, but also a big voice.'

'He's had a difficult season, and not so much on the pitch. He's had a couple of fitness issues that just halted his progress.'

'To then play and perform in high-level games is a real skill and is not easy to do. He has been able to do that consistently for us.'

'He came in against Arsenal and I thought he was magnificent. Tino Livramento has had a really good season and obviously Emil Krafth can play at right back, so there is real competition for places. We love the players we have. But Kieran is unique.'

'Physically now, for six weeks, he has looked really good. That will be key to how he plays in the second half of the season.'
