Manchester United were hit with an injury blow on Sunday as emerging star Ayden Heaven was stretchered off.
It looked to be a painful one for the 18-year-old central defender as he writhed in pain after a coming together with Patson Daka.
Manchester United took no risk with Ayden Heaven as the stretcher took him straight down the tunnel. However encouragingly, Heaven walked out of the stadium unaided with a protective boot on, but this suggests – hopefully – it won’t be serious.
It was bad timing for the former Arsenal centre-back, as Heaven had been so impressive for United in his first few games. This will no doubt be a blow as he was establishing himself as a starter while United have been turning things around on the pitch.
Heaven very quickly became important to the team and impressed his big-named teammates, which made his injury harsh timing. Now Heaven has shared an update on his possible return.

Ayden Heaven shares injury update to Manchester United fans
Heaven was a sensation for those three games he played a big part in for Manchester United, with Wayne Rooney claiming Ineos had pulled off a coup.
It would have been harsh to see Heaven out for a substantial period, and now he has taken to his Instagram story with a positive update on the situation.

This is a very positive message from Heaven and seems to suggest that the injury is not as serious as many initially feared. United will be hoping he recovers fast, with his talents in defence needed.
Manuel Ugarte has also been full of praise for Heaven, admitting he has been surprised by the defender.
Manuel Ugarte reacts to Ayden Heaven’s injury
Losing Heaven through injury would be a real blow for Ruben Amorim, with the defender sure to have benefitted from two weeks on the training ground under the head coach. So hopefully it is only a minor knock, with Ugarte among those hoping for a speedy return.
But speaking to Andy Mitten for The National, Ugarte has been full of praise for Heaven.
“He’s a very strong guy. This surprised me about him, the personality he has.
“He’s played very well in the last few games. Let’s hope he isn’t too bad and that he recovers well and is ready for what’s to come…”
To get this praise from a player like Ugarte, who is a real fighter and a winner is telling of the quality Heaven has and bodes well for him as he progresses as a footballer.
