Patriots Send Executive Vice President of Player Personnel to UCLA Pro Day

The New England Patriots have a lot of draft picks in the 2025 NFL Draft. Drafting the right players with those picks is imperative for the Patriot's success, and one of the leaders of that effort is the Patriots Executive Vice President of Player Personnel, Eliot Wolf.

According to Tony Pauline of Sportskeeda, Wolf was in attendance at the UCLA pro day. New England sending one of the leaders of their front office highlights how much stock they are putting into the players out of UCLA.

With such a big name in attendance for the Patriots, the players New England could select in the draft come to light. Olewafemi Oladejo, an outside linebacker, is someone the Patriots could consider.

Oladejo is a draft riser, and Pauline points out that the Washington Commanders, who sent their head coach and general manager, could take him at the end of the first round.

Oladejo would join recent free agent Harold Landry coming off the edge for New England, giving the Patriots a good pass-rushing duo.

Another area to pay attention to from UCLA is the off-ball linebackers. Kain Medrano has had a great NFL Scouting Combine and Pro Day, where he showed off his athleticism. The other player is Carson Schwesinger, who didn't participate in the UCLA pro day.

On offense, the Patriots could be interested in tight-end Moliki Matavao. He's projected to go late on day three of the NFL Draft.

Having a strong contingent at the UCLA Pro Day sparks some intrigue about who the Patriots are there for. With the Patriots looking for linebacker help, it seems likely that one of the UCLA linebackers will be on the Patriot's board come draft night.
