After losing former punter Riley Dixon to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in free agency, the Denver Broncos will need a new punter for 2025. They are exploring all options, including the NFL Draft.
According to Mike Uva of "Gamecock Central," the Broncos will be meeting with South Carolina Gamecocks punter Kai Kroeger in the coming weeks. He will also be meeting with the Carolina Panthers and Tennessee Titans.
Punter Kai Kroeger tells me that he has workouts with the Titans, Panthers, and Broncos in the coming weeks.
There was a large gathering outside on the practice field to watch Kroeger punt. Don't be surprised to see him land a few more workouts for teams ahead of the draft.

Kroeger spent all five seasons of his college career with the Gamecocks and became widely regarded as one of the best punters in all of college football.
Moreover, Kroger's 47.8 yards per punt was fifth best in college football, and his 72 return yards allowed were seventh best.
In addition to those stats, Kroeger had season-long punts of over 70 yards in three of his five seasons, with his career-high coming in at 79 yards in 2022.
The lefty can also do a little bit more than punt the ball. Kroeger is 7-for-10 for 205 yards and three touchdowns as a passer in his career.
His head coach, Shane Beamer, is known for his antics on special teams and more often than not, Kroeger was at the front of that and executed the plays to perfection.
Beamer and Broncos head coach Sean Payton are very familiar with the way they love to work with trick plays on special teams. For crying out loud, Payton started the second half of a Super Bowl with an onside kick.
The similarities in coaching styles and the tasks that will be asked of him could make Denver the perfect landing spot for Kroeger.
