Harrison Armstrong is a player Everton are very excited about.
The teenager made his first-team debut for the Toffees earlier this season, and followed that up with a handful of appearances under Sean Dyche.
The logical next step was for Harrison Armstrong to head out on loan in January, to try and increase his exposure to senior football.
He sealed a loan move to Derby County, who are fighting against relegation in the Championship.
Armstrong watched Paul Warne get sacked before he’d even taken to the field, in what will have been a slightly concerning situation for the Everton gem.
But that sacking has not affected him, with John Eustace handing him plenty of opportunities so far.
And against Plymouth Argyle at the weekend, Armstrong caught the eye once again.

Armstrong had recently fared well on his full Derby debut against Middlesbrough – and he has continued to shine for the Rams.

Against Plymouth at the weekend he scored his first senior goal, prompting Derby fans to laud Harrison on social media.
And he also came in for high praise from Eustace, who actually admitted his surprise about Armstrong coping with a third game in a week.
He told the club’s official YouTube channel: “Touch of class from H [Armstrong], for a just-turned 18-year-old”,
“The way he is maturing into a really good player, it is very pleasing; there is still a lot of hard work ahead. I was a little bit worried for him and Tommo [Liam Thompson]; third game in a week and the effort they put in the last two games was phenomenal.
“I am delighted for H. Still a lot of work to go with the boy but he is doing well.”
Armstrong could be heading for the Everton first-team in 2025/26
Armstrong has already dipped his toe into the Everton first-team, but he may well find himself a regular in the squad next season if he continues on like this.
Eustace praised Armstrong again recently, stating Derby were ‘fortunate’ to have him and that he had been showing maturity in his performances.

He clearly rates him a lot and, in what is a big positive for Everton, will be giving him plenty of involvement.
It’s very possible we could be seeing David Moyes promoting him properly to the first-team for 2025/26, and Evertonians would absolutely love to see an academy product making an impact at the new stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock.
