Dan Burn met up with the England national squad just hours after lifting the Carabao Cup with Newcastle United.
It has been an incredible week for the 32-year-old from Blythe, starting with Dan Burn being called up to England by Thomas Tuchel.
He is joined by Newcastle United teammates Anthony Gordon and Tino Livramento, but first Dan Burn had to focus on the Carabao Cup final.
Newcastle fans had Wembley shaking when Burn broke the deadlock against Liverpool. The experienced centre-back was nothing short of sensational and he deservedly took home the Player of the Match award.
Burn celebrated at Wembley with his teammates, but his night was cut short so he could make his way to St George’s Park in the morning.

Dan Burn apologises to Jarrod Bowen on England duty
Burn has already shocked England teammates after turning up at Tuchel’s first camp, and he will be hoping for an international debut later this week.
But the first thing on Burn’s mind was to apologise to West Ham star Jarrod Bowen for an incident that occurred between them.

Speaking about his new teammates in the England press conference on Tuesday, Burn said: “I remember I absolutely smashed Jarrod [Bowen] when he was at West Ham and straight away I went to apologise.
“I think it was a bit of red mist.
“Listen, all the players here are top, top level. Best players in the country so it’s exciting to go up against them, to train and try and contribute as much as I can.”
Newcastle United want to sign Jarrod Bowen
Newcastle have been in the market for a new winger for years now, and one player on the club’s radar has been Jarrod Bowen.
Newcastle nearly signed Bowen in 2020 when Steve Bruce was manager. Unfortunately, Mike Ashley failed to sign off on a deal and he instead joined West Ham.
Since joining the Hammers, Bowen has scored 64 goals, including the winner in a European cup final. He has quickly become a club legend in London, but Newcastle have not lost interest in a deal.

Newcastle showed interest in Bowen over the January transfer window, but it was accepted that Eddie Howe’s side would need to qualify for the Champions League in order to make a deal possible.
Now that Burn has apologised for their ‘incident’, hopefully it can pave the way for a deal this summer.
