Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr are preparing a bold summer bid for Arsenal defender Gabriel Magalhaes, as they look to lure the Brazilian away from the Emirates Stadium with a lucrative offer.

According toGIVEMESPORT, Al-Nassr have already made an initial approach to the player and are willing to offer him a tax-free salary in the region of €20 million per year, nearly three times his current wages at Arsenal. However, the 27-year-old remains a key figure in Mikel Arteta’s plans, and the North London club are determined to keep him.

New Arsenal sporting director Andrea Berta is expected to resume discussions over a contract extension for Gabriel, whose current deal runs until 2027. The Gunners reportedly value the centre-back at €100 million, making it unlikely they would entertain offers below that figure.

While Gabriel is fully focused on helping Arsenal finish the season strongly—particularly in their quest for Champions League glory—he is said to be open to a move to Saudi Arabia at some stage in his career.

Speculation surrounding Gabriel’s future first emerged in August 2023, when Arteta’s tactical shift saw him briefly dropped from the starting XI in favour of a defensive reshuffle. More recently, Saudi journalist Ahmed Al-Ajlan reported that the President of the Saudi Federation held talks with Gabriel in London over a potential move to Al-Ittihad.

Despite the ongoing interest from Saudi clubs, Arsenal remain confident about retaining their defender. While contract talks are not yet at an advanced stage, the club remains relaxed about the situation, as Gabriel will still have two years left on his deal this summer.

Should Arsenal accelerate negotiations, a new agreement is expected to be reached, ensuring Gabriel Magalhaes’ long-term future remains in North London.
