The US Food and Drug Administration [has encouraged another recall of raw pet food](https://content.govdelivery.com/accounts/USFDA/bulletins/3d77677). This time it is products made by Savage Pet, a company in California (naturally) because a cat got bird flu after eating it and samples tested “non-negative” and then by the time government got around to testing it again it was negative, but then another cat got sick so the company was told to recall the products.
If you think your cats are your kids, feed them things that won't kill them. Your cat is not a wild tiger just because artwork on a fancy package for wealthy package shows that. Don't feed them raw pet food.
