Tracy Morgan reveals reason he vomited on MSG court during Knicks game

Tracy Morgan has had better nights.

The actor-comedian and New York Knicks superfan said Tuesday that food poisoning was to blame for his taking ill and [throwing up courtside](https://x.com/TheNBACentel/status/1901808217102983657) during a Heat-Knicks game at Madison Square Garden on Monday.

Morgan [took to Instagram](https://www.instagram.com/p/DHWCOw6vhE0/?hl=en\) to let fans know he was OK, posting a smiling photo from a hospital bed along with a “goknicks hashtag.

“I’m doing ok now and doctors say it was food poisoning” he wrote. “Appreciate my MSG family for taking such good care of me and I need to shout out the crew that had to clean that up. Appreciate you!”

“More importantly, the Knicks are now 1-0 when I throw up on the court so maybe I’ll have to break it out again in the playoffs.”

Morgan, 56, was raised in Brooklyn and is a lifelong Knicks fan. He is routinely spotted at MSG.

As an actor, he is best known for appearing on “Saturday Night Live” from 1996 to 2003 and the NBC sitcom “30 Rock” from 2006 to 2013.

The Knicks won the game 116-95, but not before Morgan vomited in the second half, delaying the action for more than 10 minutes as staff cleaned up the mess around his seat.

Morgan has struggled with health issues in the past, requiring kidney transplant in 2010 and suffering a traumatic brain injury from a crash with a tractor trailer that put him in a coma in 2014.
