Aaron Rodgers became a free agent last week and has yet to decide which team he wants to spend 2025 season with.
The Giants and Steelers have made offers to the four-time NFL MVP quarterback, and The Athletic reports that he’s holding out for an offer from the Vikings.
After that report came out, former cornerback Domonique Foxworth said on his podcast that Rodgers should play for Minnesota for free.
“If I’m Aaron Rodgers, I would go play for the Vikings for free,” Foxworth said. “League minimum, sign me up, and I would first, publicly make some big statement about how humbled I was by the experience last year.”
In 17 games with the Jets last season, Rodgers went 5-12. He completed 63% of his passes for 3,897 yards, 28 touchdowns and 11 interceptions.
The Jets officially released Rodgers last Wednesday.
The Giants met with Russell Wilson and Joe Flacco last week and hosted Jameis Winston on Monday.
