Ineos will be fairly satisfied with their transfer business done at Manchester United so far.
The first transfer window under Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Ineos was in the summer when over £200m was spent on five major signings for Erik ten Hag.
Ratcliffe admits keeping Ten Hag was a ‘mistake’, and a costly one at that. But the players brought in this summer have all improved the squad.
In January, Patrick Dorgu and Ayden Heaven arrived and both have impressed early on in their United career. It means Ineos have been flawless in the transfer market with all seven signings impressing.
But they have also missed out on some of their top targets, including striker Randal Kolo Muani.

Randal Kolo Muani struggling after failed Man United move
With Marcus Rashford joining Aston Villa on loan in January, Ineos looked around for potential replacements – especially those available on loan.
Ineos made Randal Kolo Muani a major target with PSG willing to part ways with the 26-year-old in January.
However, Kolo Muani snubbed United for Juventus, with the young striker joining the Serie A giants on a loan deal until the summer.

Kolo Muani made a bright start at Juventus, but his form has dwindled and now he is facing criticism from the media.
As quoted by Italian outlet Tuttomercatoweb, Massimo Ambrosini criticised Kolo Muani suggesting he is only adding to the problems at Juventus.
“Thiago Motta doesn’t have much empathy with the team. Getting to the Champions League would mean that he is doing a good job in these 9 games.
“The second year is more indicative to judge him fully. If in these last 9 games he manages to get to the Champions League and if the team makes some purchases, especially in attack, because Kolo Muani hasn’t solved the problems, then he can start well again”.
Kolo Muani, who cost PSG a whopping £76m, has scored seven goals in 25 appearances for Juventus, but he has now failed to score in his last eight games.
Ineos will look at other strikers for Man United this summer
Kolo Muani’s dry streak in Italy suggests Ineos may have done well to avoid a deal for the striker.
However, United will want to sign a striker this summer to support Rasmus Hojlund – who has often been Amorim’s only option up front this season.
Viktor Gyokeres remains on United’s radar while Victor Osimhen has been linked with a move, but both strikers will demand an expensive fee and will likely want European football.

The budget will be tight this summer with Ratcliffe explaining that United have already spent £89m before the window has even opened.
But Amorim will be backed with new signings and adding extra firepower will be a top priority.
