On Monday night, the Indiana Pacers took the red-hot Minnesota Timberwolves to overtime and then managed to win 132-130, snapping the Wolves' seven-game win streak. Anthony Edwards led all scorers with 38 points, but a solid team effort from the Pacers, along with a career-high from Obi Toppin, was enough to seal the deal.
Indiana was without Tyrese Haliburton, Pascal Siakam, and Myles Turner, their three best players, but everyone who was healthy stepped up in a massive way for the Pacers.
After signing a second ten-day contract, journeyman center Tony Bradley played 20 minutes, his longest NBA outing since 2021. At 27 years old, he has played in parts of seven seasons for the Utah Jazz, Philadelphia 76ers, Oklahoma City Thunder, and Chicago Bulls.
Against the Wolves, he posted 12 points and nine rebounds, and his 6-8 shooting from the floor was desperately needed with Turner out.
"He was nice," said Andrew Nembhard of Tony Bradley. "You could feel his poise and presence in there as an older guy. A lot of good offensive voices for us in that first half. Everybody was key in this one."
Bradley could be added to the Pacers' playoff roster as a depth piece, although rookie Enrique Freeman, who hit two clutch free throws, could give him a run for his money.

Condiering that the Pacers started the season by losing backup centers Isaiah Jackson and James Wiseman for the year with Achilles injuries, having choice is a luxury, and Turner and Thomas Bryant have both stepped up in big ways as well when needed.
