The Sacramento Kings have had an interesting season thus far as they are currently hanging onto their playoff lives.
Sacramento has lost their last five games before ending their losing streak on Monday against the shorthanded Memphis Grizzlies.
With Monday's victory, the Kings now hold a 34-33 record which has them sitting ninth in the Western Conference standings, just three games ahead of the 11th place Phoenix Suns.
Of course, the Kings have had an interesting season thus far as they have changed coaches and then traded away their star point guard De'Aaron Fox to the San Antonio Spurs at the trade deadline in the same deal that landed them Zach LaVine from the Chicago Bulls.
Since the Fox trade, the Kings have struggled with their new trio of Domantas Sabonis, DeRozan and LaVine, but Sabonis also missed an extended period due to a hamstring injury.
With Sabonis now back, the Kings will look to better their position in the Wester Conference Play-In and they decided to make a roster move on Tuesday ahead of Wednesday's tough matchup against the red-hot Cleveland Cavaliers.
According to ESPN's Shams Charania, the Kings signed Terry Taylor to a 10-day contract on Tuesday.
The Sacramento Kings are signing forward Terry Taylor to a 10-day contract out of their NBA G League affiliate Stockton, his agent Darrell Comer tells ESPN. Taylor has averaged 17.5 points, 8.4 rebounds and 3.4 assists for Stockton.

Taylor has played for the Stockton Kings this season, which is Sacramento's G League affiliate, and he is averaging 17.5 points, 8.4 rebounds and 3.4 assists.
This is somewhat of a surprise move for the Kings who lack guard depth, especially at the point guard position after trading away Fox. Taylor is a forward and will add himself to Sacramento's abundance of forwards on their roster.
The 25-year-old has spent three seasons in the NBA after going undrafted out of Austin Peay State University in 2021. Last season, Taylor played 31 games for the Bulls where he averaged 1.5 points and 1.2 rebounds while shooting 51.3% from the field and 22.2% from three.
This is an interesting move for the Kings as they will now look to pick up another victory on Wednesday against the Cavaliers.
