The Lakers are 1-2 against the Nuggets so far this season and will hope to tie the season series in their final regular season matchup. Fortunately for the Lakers, the Nuggets made an announcement on Nikola Jokic that could make this a bit less challenging for them.
After winning the MVP award in three of the last four seasons, Jokic is putting together another MVP-caliber season. To say he is crucial to Denver's success would be an understatement. However, the Nuggets recently announced that Jokic, who missed the team's victory over the Golden State Warriors with an elbow injury, is questionable against the Lakers.

In three games against the Lakers this season, the Serbian native is averaging 24.7 points, 11 rebounds, and 7.7 assists, according to StatMuse.
This is a huge game for both teams as it will have major playoff implications. With less than a month left in the season, the Nuggets, who currently own the No. 3 seed in the West, are just one game ahead of the Lakers.
The winner of this game will be in a good spot to remain near the top of the standings heading into the playoffs. Hopefully for the Lakers, they can secure a victory and gain some momentum as the end of the season nears.
