THE [Cherries](http://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/sport/cherries/clubnews/) will aim to use the international break positively to recharge after a disappointing run of results, Andoni Iraola said.

AFC Bournemouth were beaten 2-1 by Brentford last weekend, meaning that, since the start of February, Iraola’s side have lost four of their last six league games, picking up just four points.

That includes losing the last three league games at home.

Iraola said the results have not been good enough recently, but they will aim to use the international break well to reset.

After the break, they return to action in the FA Cup quarterfinal, at home to Manchester City, before a home game in the league against Ipswich Town.

Asked if the interval had come at a good time for a bit of a reset, Iraola told the Daily Echo: “The break is when it is. I would like to have arrived in a better position, results wise, because, especially in the league, last results haven't been good enough.

“We will use it in a positive way, try to charge again the energy.

“I think after we have two home games, it worries me a little bit that we are not making the difference at home. Actually, I think we have more points away than at home.

“We have to find a way to give value to this home advantage because especially now the next two games are at home and we need to create the feeling that we are strong at home because we have been, especially first half of the season.”

With nine games left of the season, the Cherries are tenth in the Premier League but are only four points off fifth-placed Manchester City.

Five of their remaining fixtures are against teams below them in the league, with home games coming against Ipswich, Fulham, Manchester United, Aston Villa and Leicester City.
