Cavaliers Make Evan Mobley Decision Before Clippers Game

Cleveland Cavaliers star forward and first-time All Star Evan Mobley missed his last game on Sunday due to a right foot injury.

In that game, the Cavaliers bowed down to the Orlando Magic, 108-103. This loss ended their 16-game winning streak.

Cleveland is currently boasting the highest record in the league at 56-11, which is seven games ahead of the No. 2 in the Eastern Conference, the Boston Celtics. A big reason for that is due to the play of power forward Mobley, a fourth-year star out of USC.

On Tuesday, the Cavs will look to bounce back as they face the Los Angeles Clippers. Mobley was listed as questionable prior to this game.

However, an announcement was made shortly before tip-off, confirming that Mobley will be among the start

Mobley is currently having his best season since entering the league, averaging 18.6 points, 9.3 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 1.6 blocks per game. He has played 59 games this season, with the Cavaliers winning in 51 of those games.

The Cavaliers hold the seventh highest defensive rating in the league while holding the second highest net rating. This is partly due to Mobley's defensive contributions. He leads the team in blocks per game, while still being an elite offensive contributor.
