Alan Shearer names Wolves duo in TOTW
Wolves fans could breathe a sigh of relief on Saturday following the win over Southampton as multiple players starred at St Mary’s.
Strand Larsen’s double was complimented by two inch-perfect assists from Jean-Ricner Bellegarde, who has grown into his role under Vitor Pereira.
Alan Shearer named his Premier League Team of the Week for match week 29, and unsurprisingly, both Strand Larsen and Bellegarde featured after impressing on the South Coast.

Wolves eyeing Brazilian starlet Victor Gabriel
Planning ahead of the summer is well underway and Wolves have already scouted Victor Gabriel, the highly-rated defender from Sport Recife in Brazil.
Gabriel is currently on loan at Internacional and Wolves sent representatives to watch him in a derby clash against fierce rivals Gremio.
Interestingly, the 20-year-old isn’t the only Brazilian the Old Gold are interested in, as Wolves are also preparing a bid for Riquelme Fillipi.
Emmanuel Agbadou praises Strand Larsen
Emmanuel Agbadou was immense once more on Saturday, acting as a rock in the middle of defence for the Old Gold.
The Ivorian has proven to be a masterful signing so far, with his defensive expertise destined to keep Wolves in the top-flight.
Following the weekend’s win, Agbadou has lauded Strand Larsen as ‘quality’ while also praising Pereira for handing the Norwegian new-found confidence.
Ian Wright’s exciting Wolves prediction
Entering the international break nine points clear will relieve the pressure off Pereira, and although he knows the job isn’t done, it’s hard to imagine either Ipswich or Leicester recovering the deficit.
The Portuguese boss deserves huge credit for the turnaround, as when he arrived in December, Wolves were inside the relegation places by four points.
Supporters will be confident that a long-term project under the 56-year-old could be fruitful, and Ian Wright thinks Wolves will do better in 2025/26, citing Pereira’s methods as the main reason for his prediction.
