Merz Aesthetics Korea said it recently held the MEX Symposium at the Signiel Busan Hotel last Saturday focusing on the theme “Touch of Professional.” The event provided a platform for medical professionals to exchange expertise and insights on aesthetic medicine, helping patients achieve true beauty through innovative treatments.

The symposium featured speakers including Seoul One Dermatology Director Yeom Kkotbora, Galleria Dermatology Director Seo Ji-myung, Villa De Skin Dermatology Clinic Director Park Young-woon, and Yonsei University College of Medicine Professors Kim Hee-jin and Roh Mi-ryung.
Various clinical case studies were presented, highlighting the latest procedures involving Belotero Revive Skinbooster, Radiesse, Belotero, and Xeomin.
Additionally, expert panels from the Asia-Pacific region introduced newly established consensus guidelines for aesthetic medical procedures. Discussions particularly focused on the “Inside-out” strategy in aesthetic treatments, with Yonsei University professors sharing the latest advancements in anatomy, dermatology, and immunology.
Concluding the symposium, Merz Aesthetics Korea Senior Vice President Yu Su-yeon reiterated the company’s commitment to evidence-based aesthetic medicine.
