West Ham ITK ExWHUEmployee is reporting that the Hammers are scouting two players in the Danish Superliga for possible moves this summer: 20-year-old striker Franculino Dju from FC Midtjylland and 18-year-old right-back Lucas Høgsberg from Nordsjælland.
Ex made his claim on his West Ham Way Patreon page, and these are certainly two names that have not cropped up before.
Hammers head of recruitment Kyle Macaulay is believed to have been busy identifying previously untapped talent ahead of a summer rebuild. Whether these two Danish-based players revealed by Ex are part of the new scouting network or previous targets remains uncertain.

Macaulay was head of data analysis at Chelsea before West Ham paid compensation to sign him from West London. One would expect that he has a detailed dossier and knowledge of some of Europe’s best up-and-coming talent, and hopefully, this is an example of precisely that.
With transfer funds set to be tight in the summer unless the club can offload players, Graham Potter and Macaulay will have to wheel and deal to find a few bargains to bolster what is far from a young squad.
Dju has scored seven goals in 18 games for Midtjylland, and one would expect Potter to know all about the young, up-and-coming striker given his time spent in Scandinavia.
