Pittsburgh Steelers' top brass, including Mike Tomlin, meet with uber-talented Alabama…

The Pittsburgh Steelers' top brass having a dinner with Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe before Alabama’s pro day tomorrow, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports. Head coach Mike Tomlin, general manager Omar Khan, and quarterbacks coach Tom Arth are all in attendance for the dinner.

Milroe is a projected day two who has not helped his stock over the course of draft season. Once thought as a fringe first round pick, Milroe is not thought to be more of a third-round pick.

A two-time captain, Milroe will wow in interviews as a humble, strong-willed leader who has proven his intangibles.

However, the football tape itself is the question. Milroe has struggled with processing and accuracy in his Alabama tenure, and he did the same during his Senior Bowl practices.

For the Steelers, that might push him down boards, however. Milroe’s live arm and athleticism give a unique pair of traits that few others in this class have, and it could rocket him up into the second round.

The Steelers do not have a second round pick after the DK Metcalf trade, so Milroe might go right in between their first and third round picks.

Yet, if he is there in the third round and the team wants to make an upside swing, Milroe makes a lot of sense for the Steelers.
