Who will Browns get as bridge quarterback? Crowquill

Ted Crow

CLEVELAND, Ohio — The Browns are looking for a veteran quarterback who can step in at the beginning of the season and keep the team competitive until their pick at No. 2 in the 2025 NFL draft on April 24 is ready to start. Of course that’s assuming they pick a QB at No. 2.

As of now the Browns have two QBs on the roster: Deshaun Watson who will likely miss all or most of this season due to injury and Kenny Pickett who has been promised a chance to compete for the starting job.

The experts believe the Browns will select Colorado’s Shedeur Sanders with the No.2 pick and bring him along slowly while the bridge QB stands in until the rookie is ready.

Possible bridge candidates are Russell Wilson, Kirk Cousins and Joe Flacco among others.
