Mikel Arteta has had a season full of challenges so far. Most of the issues faced by him are cause due to injuries. Many of the Arsenal’s first choice players have suffered serious injuries. But, Arteta has still managed to do a decent job.

Gunners are on the 2nd position in the Premier League. They are far away from winning the league title. On the other hand, Arteta has lead his club to the quarter-finals of Champions League. He will like to focus on UCL as it is the only competition where they have chance to lift the trophy.

Arsenal handed injury boost ahead of Real Madrid clash

One of the major missing in Arteta’a lineup has been Bukayo Saka. The 23 year old had a superb start to this career. He was the best Arsenal player with 9 goals and 13 assists in 24 games. But, he suffered a serious injury on 21st December and has not played ever since.

According to Mirror Football, Saka is likely to return on the pitch for the game against Real Madrid. This will come as a massive boost to Mikel Arteta and the Arsenal fans. Gunners will play 2 more games before Madrid clash and hence it will be important to see if Saka gets any minutes there.
