Yasir Al-Rumayyan has won his first trophy as Newcastle United owner.
The Magpies ended their trophy drought on Sunday, with thousands of Newcastle United fans reduced to tears inside Wembley.
It is Newcastle’s first domestic trophy since 1955, but PIF believe this is just the beginning.
Yasir Al-Rumayyan celebrated with the Carabao Cup at Wembley, but insisted to supporters that more honours will come.
For that to happen, Newcastle United need to retain their best players. Luckily, Al-Rumayyan knows that, and there is one player who he is adamant is not leaving St James’ Park.

PIF chief is adamant about Alexander Isak
The player in question is Alexander Isak, who scored Newcastle’s second goal during the 2-1 win over Liverpool at Wembley.
There has been relentless speculation that the 25-year-old could leave this summer, with the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool and Barcelona linked.
However, the Daily Mail report that Newcastle United chairman Al-Rumayyan has no intention of letting Isak leave the club.

Why Yasir Al-Rumayyan sanctioned Alexander Isak transfer in 2022
That is no great surprise considering the number of goals that Isak has scored since becoming Newcastle’s most expensive signing ever in 2022.
He cost £63million from Real Sociedad in August 2022, and has gone on to score 58 goals in 100 appearances for the club.
His 100th appearance was the most special, as Isak helped Newcastle lift the Carabao Cup.
They did it in front of the chairman, and Isak’s influence will have reaffirmed Al-Rumayyan’s love for the Swedish striker.
Interestingly, it was a visit to St James’ Park in August 2022 that inspired Al-Rumayyan to give the greenlight to sign Isak.
After watching Newcastle draw 3-3 with Manchester City at St James’ Park, the chairman made a major decision.
According to the Athletic, Al-Rumayyan decided he wanted to ‘do something big’.
With Callum Wilson suffering an injury in that game, Newcastle United officials decided to go all out and break their transfer record to sign Isak. The rest is history.
