Tim Steidten is held responsible for the majority of West Ham’s struggles this season.
The sporting director was given his marching orders in February after a disastrous summer transfer window that continues to haunt the Hammers.
The likes of Niclas Fullkrug, Guido Rodriguez, and the injured Crysencio Summerville were signed by the German but have struggled to secure starting berths under both Julen Lopetegui and Graham Potter.
However, one flop may have a chance to turn around his career at the London Stadium after a new announcement.

Despite this, the 19-year-old has been named in Goal’s NXGN 50 list, which highlights the best talents in world football.
The hope at Rush Green will be that Guilherme can use this recognition to kick on and prove that he can be a star in the Premier League.

West Ham need Guilherme to become a success
The Hammers spent a lot of money to bring Guilherme to the London Stadium, but he is yet to start a match for the club.
If they decide to cut their losses, they will surely be unable to recoup a similar amount to the huge fee that they paid for his services, so they need the move to work out.

Guilherme’s stats under Lopetegui and Potter.
He may have expected to be given a chance to impress Potter after Lopetegui was sacked, but this has not been the case, as he has featured less under the former Chelsea manager.
The Brazil under-20 international has appeared for a total of 15 minutes under the ex-Brighton boss, less than the 38 minutes of action that he received under the Spaniard.
The Hammers need to give the youngster a chance to adapt to the English game, or there is no chance that he will kick on if he is given cameo appearances every so often; he needs to be playing regularly for a proper judgment to emerge on his abilities.
The young attacker is rated very highly within the game, as shown by his inclusion in the prestigious list, but the Irons risk not allowing him to fulfil his potential.
