Chelsea star finds his future uncertain beyond this season

One Chelsea star is finding his future uncertain at Stamford Bridge beyond this season. He is at West London on loan right now but can return to his parent club at the end of this season.

The star in question here is Jadon Sancho of Manchester United. He joined the Red Devils with big hopes but the deal did not worked for anyone. Sancho failed to impress at Old Trafford resulting in him losing his place in starting lineup.

Later Sancho was involved in fall-out with then United boss Erik Ten Hag. This resulted in him spending half of the last season on bench before joining Borussia Dortmund on loan. The German giants were unable to sign Sancho on a permanent deal.

As a result, Sancho once again returned to Man United. But, he was still not part of Ten Hag’s plans. The Red Devils then made him available in market but were unable to find a permanent deal. Lastly, on the deadline day Chelsea opted to sign Sancho on a season-long loan.

Will Sancho continue at Chelsea beyond this season?

The Blues have an obligation to buy Sancho this summer. They will need to pay United £25 million. However, the West London club can pay a significant fee to cancel the deal and send Sancho back to United. The Blues were first said to make Sancho their permanent player but now there is twist in the story.

According to The I Paper, Chelsea are not fully convinced by Sancho. Hence, they can opt to send him back and focus on other signings. They have already signed Quenda who will join the club next year. Man United are no longer interested to keep Sancho and hence will try to find him next club as soon as he returns to Old Trafford.

🚨 Jadon Sancho’s recent performances has caused Chelsea to think twice about keeping him at the club beyond the loan agreement with Man United.

They will have to pay a “significant fee” to get out of their obligation to buy him in the summer.

Sancho still has some time left to impress Chelsea but he will need to deliver on regular basis. He actually had good start to hi life in Blue jersey but later experienced dip in the form. Since September, he has scored only 2 goals and picked only 1 assist.
