The latest Bears Banter Podcast has dropped!
The great Brad Biggs from the Chicago Tribune joined the podcast as the [Chicago Bears](https://www.windycitygridiron.com/) have made significant changes to their roster thanks to a couple of trades and some free agent additions.
The conversation with Biggs revolves around the moves they made in March, but also discusses what’s next for the offensive line. Biggs also shares his thoughts on the defense, Ryan Poles, and shares what he knows about the Bears stadium project.
Biggs’ comments on how the Bears need to start getting away from free agency and start having more success in the draft were compelling and something that can’t be ignored.
“People get really, really amped up about free agency, Bill,” Biggs stated. “Free agency began in the national football league in ‘94 or ‘93, the Bears, in terms of unrestricted free agents, have signed a grand total of three players that have gone on to represent them in more than one [Pro Bowl](http://www.sbnation.com/nfl-pro-bowl).”
Biggs continued, “You look at these teams that put together a lot of fancy signings in March, and sometimes, the production doesn’t quite measure up. You’re not necessarily buying guys who tilt the field on Sundays. You can get really good players and the Bears have to hope they found some really good players here. But to truly get this thing going, and for it to be sustainable, they have to draft their way out of it.”
