The date for Leeds United’s pre-season friendly with Manchester United has been confirmed.
Leeds United are still embroiled in an intense Championship title race with Sheffield United and Burnley, with eight fixtures remaining for Daniel Farke’s side.
Though it’s not yet clear what division Leeds will be playing in next season, planning has already begun for the summer months and pre-season preparations.
The Whites will be hoping to face fierce rivals Manchester United twice in the next Premier League campaign but the two sides will also lock horns in a pre-season friendly first.
The date for the game has now been confirmed.

Leeds’ recent results against Manchester United
Leeds do not have a great record against their greatest foes, having won the fixture just 26 times compared to Manchester United’s 50.
The Whites have not defeated them since the famous 1-0 FA Cup win in 2010, courtesy of Jermaine Beckford’s goal.
There was a memorable 2-2 draw in 2023 with Willy Gnonto scoring, though Leeds threw away a two-goal lead, and a 0-0 stalemate in 2021, but otherwise Man United have had all the success in the fixture.
