Compelling offer on way to sign Manchester United player–Negotiations set to begin

Antony is doing well during his loan stint away from Manchester United.

The Brazilian has four goals and four assists in 11 games for Real Betis, who have seen the winger impress not just in La Liga but in the UEFA Conference League as well.

There is now an indication that the Spanish club are attempting to extend Antony’s stint at the Benito Villamarin.

ABC Sevilla have reported that Real Betis want to keep the Manchester United loanee until the end of the 2025/26 season and are already taking the necessary steps to convince the Red Devils.

The newspaper states that this was Real Betis’ intention all along but their plans were hindered by the amount of interest Antony had attracted in the January transfer window. This led to them agreeing a short-term deal, but plans are being laid to draw up a ‘compelling’ deal which can lure Manchester United into loaning the Brazil international again.

The player is very happy with his life in Andalusia and has settled in very well to the club’s dressing room.

The report suggests that if Real Betis qualify for the Europa League, they will have a good chance of landing Antony, and if they make it to the Champions League, their chances will increase further.

Either way, negotiations will begin.
