Manchester United will lock horns with Aston Villa in the semi-final of the FA Youth Cup at Villa Park on March 31.

United's Under-18s progressed to the last-four of the competition last month with a thrilling 3-2 victory over Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium. They recovered from 2-1 down to win 3-2 in extra-time, courtesy of Bendito Mantato's 99th-minute winner.

Both Villa and United have now confirmed their semi-final showdown will go ahead at Villa Park on Monday, March 31, kick-off 7pm.

Villa have confirmed that seating for the fixture will be available in the Trinity Road Stand, both for home and away supporters. Villa have said United supporters should purchase tickets for Blocks B3 and B2.

Home supporters will be housed in Blocks B5 and B6 and the Midlands outfit has said further blocks will be made available subject to demand. Tickets are on general sale and are priced at just £5.

United will be bidding to reach the FA Youth Cup final for the second time in four seasons after winning it 2022 with a 3-1 win over Nottingham Forest at Old Trafford. Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo were arguably the stars of that run to the final and they have, of course, since become household names.

United have already overcome two of the favourites to win the competition en route to the semi-finals, beating both Arsenal and Chelsea. The Reds beat the Blues 5-1 at the fifth round stage at Leigh Sports Village last month, inspired by a Chido Obi hat-trick.

United, who have also got the better of Coventry City and Preston North End to reach this stage, will face either Manchester City or Watford in the final if they get the better of Villa.

Watford and City will go toe-to-toe in their respective semi-final at Vicarage Road on Thursday, April 10.
