Everton supporters can look forward to a new era at the Bramley-Moore Dock Stadium.

Just four Premier League games now remain at Goodison Park until the doors at the Old Lady are locked for good, but Toffees fans are ready for a new chapter as test events continue to take place.

Not only are Everton ready to compete with the big boys under The Friedkin Group with their new home, the increased capacity to 52,000 means more supporters will get the chance to watch their heroes in the flesh far more often.

Everton push boundaries with Bramley-Moore Dock

Everton are moving as far within the legal boundaries as they can with the Premier League with one aspect of their new waterfront arena, officially opening this summer.

The steepness of the seats in the upper tier at Bramley-Moore Dock will be just 0.1 per cent off the maximum angle of 35 degrees upwards, a plan for the stadium alongside building controllers which was revealed at Everton months ago.

MORE TOFFEES STORIES

However, for the first time, Sky Sports (18 March) gathered footage from the elite vantage point inside the ground, in which stadium planners explained the need to provide fans in blue with the best possible views.

Some 10,000 Everton supporters were chosen to attend the first test event earlier this year as the Toffees’ under-18 side faced Wigan Athletic, housed in the lower section of the stadium.

These trial days will continue until eventually a full-capacity event can be held, which will be prior to the first home fixture of next season – certainly in the Premier League following form under David Moyes.

Alan Myers also showed never-before-seen footage as plans reach their conclusive phase towards later this year.

Goodison Park to host four more games

Of their nine remaining Premier League matches this season and with safety all but mathematically secured, Everton fans can enjoy four more special occasions at Goodison.

In their final home matches before home turns from L4 to L5, the Gwladys Street End and its brothers and sisters can roar on Moyes and the team with a tantalising quartet of games.

Arsenal and Manchester City are still to visit the blue corner of Merseyside this season, which will include Mikel Arteta returning to a ground which defined his playing career.

Remaining fixtures at Goodison Park

5 April Arsenal

19 April Manchester City

3 May Ipswich Town

18 May Southampton

Everton have four left at Goodison

May sees Ipswich Town visit, while Southampton will be the last-ever Premier League opponents in what will be a tear-jerking day for thousands.

Before we know it, the summer’s fixture release day of 2025-26 will roll around and plans can begin in earnest for the eagerly anticipated competitive opener at pastures new.
