Netflix Reveals Signal Callers For Season 2 Of Peyton Manning’s ‘Quarterback’ Docuseries

Netflix has lined up a stellar trio of quarterbacks for the second season of its eponymous NFL docuseries.

The streamer is launching the second season of the series in July and has signed up Cincinnati Bengals’ Joe Burrow and Detroit Lions’ Jared Goff alongside Kirk Cousins, who is returning after being featured in season one.

Cousins, who is now on the Atlanta Falcons, was arguably the breakout of season one, which aired in 2023, earning the praise of fans for his relatability, his relationships with his teammates and family and his shopping habits. In that first season, he was joined by Kansas City Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes and Marcus Mariota, who played for the Falcons at the time.

The second season of Quarterback, which was filmed across the 2024/25 season, will see him go 7-7 for the Falcons, which signed him to a four-year $180M contract, but he soon lost his starting role to Michael Penix Jr., who the Falcons drafted eighth overall.

Burrow and Goff, however, are newbies to Netflix.

Burrow had a strange 24/25 season. Recovered from wrist surgery, he had a fantastic year with a career high of 4,918 passing yards and 43 touchdowns but the Bengals failed to make the playoffs.

Goff, meanwhile, coming off signing a four-year $212M contract extension, helped his team clinch their second consecutive division title with a 15-2 record as well as the no. 1 seed in the NFL for the first time in its history by completing 4,629 passing yards and 37 touchdowns.

However, the team surprisingly lost to the Washington Commanders, with their rookie Jayden Daniels, in the divisional round of the playoffs.

Quarterback will highlight the ups and downs of these players’ seasons as well as their lives at home.

It is produced by Peyton Manning’s Omaha Productions, Patrick Mahomes’ 2PM Productions and NFL Films.
